NWU Goes 2-1 At Prairie Wolf Duals

LINCOLN, Neb. (December 18, 2021) - The Nebraska Wesleyan wrestling team went 2-1 in the 2021 Prairie Wolf Duals in Knight Fieldhouse. With the two wins, Nebraska Wesleyan has won four of its last five duals against non-conference opponents.

NWU defeated Milwaukee School of Engineering, 31-21, to open the day then fell to Cornell College, 40-10, and finished the day with a near shutout victory, 49-6, over Schreiner University. Isaiah Graves at 125 lbs and Collin Quandt at 157 lbs both went undefeated for the Prairie Wolves.

Graves earned major decisions in the first two duals (15-4 against MSOE and 10-0 against Cornell) then received a forfeit win against Schreiner. Quandt dominated in all three duals, winning by pin in each match. Quandt's first pin was in 1:40 against an opponent from MSOE with the next pin coming at the 4:28 mark in the Cornell dual and the final pin in 6:21 against an opponent from Schreiner.
