Thomas Competes In NCAA Cross Country Championship


LOUISVILLE, Ky. (November 20, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan's Gabby Thomas wrapped up the 2021 Women's Cross Country season at the NCAA Division III National Championship in Louisville, Kentucky.

Thomas trekked the 6K course in a time of 22:46.8, which finished 151st in a field of nearly 300 runners. Thomas was the lone representative from Nebraska Wesleyan in the national championship meet and competed in the national event for the first time in her career. 

Kassie Rosenum of Loras, a fellow member of the American Rivers Conference, was the NCAA Division III Individal national champion with a time of 20:11.1. The team national title was won by Johns Hopkins University.
