CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa  – Nebraska Wesleyan University senior women's basketball player Caitlin Navratil is this week's American Rivers Conference Women's Athlete of the Week as well as Women's Basketball Player-of-the-Week.

Navratil (Littleton, Colo./Dakota Ridge) averaged 29.5 points in two games this past weekend as the Prairie Wolves went 1-1.

She scored 37 points in the 79-71 victory over McMurry University, to record the second highest single game scoring total in NWU Women's basketball history.  She was 13-24 from the floor and 10-12 at the free throw line to set her new career-high.  In addition to her big scoring night, she added four steals and five rebounds.

The senior guard is the 2nd all-time leading scorer in Prairie Wolves history and needs just 71 more points to become the program's all-time career leading scorer.

This is the second time in her career that Navratil has received American Rivers Conference Female Athlete of the Week honors.
