WHATS THE FREE THROW CHALLENGE?
Our Free Throw Challenge consists of each player on the team attempting 100 total Free Throws and record their made baskets. We are asking that in support of the program, you choose your favorite player and donate at least $1.00 or more per every free throw made, or you can make the one-time donation in the name of your favorite player. At the end of the challenge, player results will be posted on our website.
The challenge will take place Sunday, September 7th, 2025 from 9 to 10:30 am.
WHY?
For us to reach our goals, we need YOUR SUPPORT. We thank everyone who was able to support us and donate last year to our inaugural Free Throw Challenge. Through your generous donations we were able to raise $3,880.00. That money was used to enhance the overall experience of our players when it came to travel, meals, equipment, and gear. This year our goal is to raise $5,000.00. We are looking to make renovations and upgrades to our locker room. Things like the lockers and the carpet are in need of an upgrade that can happen through your support in this challenge.
HOW?
A one-time donation in any dollar amount can be made or you can choose to donate based on each free throw made. Donations can be made online or by mail-in check. To make an online donation, click on the
link and check the Athletic Team Fundraising box, then put your donation amount in the Women’s Basketball box. Checks should be made payable to Nebraska Wesleyan Women’s Basketball. Please mail donations to the following address. If you have questions, please email at
