McPherson, Kan. - The Nebraska Wesleyan baseball team picked up their first victory of the 2016 season as they won one of three games in a series at McPherson College over the weekend. The series had a little bit of everything including 76 total runs and an extra inning game to close the series.
Saturday's doubleheader was a total slugfest that lasted over seven hours between the two games. McPherson won the opening game, 19-17, then the Prairie Wolves came back to win the second game 16-13. The Bulldogs closed the series on Sunday with a 6-5 victory in 10 innings.
