2016: Took over as the starting left fielder for NWU as a junior … played in 29 games and started 26 in left field … went 3-for-5 with two RBI in win over Keene State on March 13 … put together a five-game hitting streak from Mar. 12 – Apr. 2 … went 8-16 for a .500 average during the stretch … had five multi-hit performances … named a Daktronics/NAIA Scholar Athlete … selected to the AD3I All-Academic team … for second straight year earned Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete honors.

2015: Started 15 games in the outfield for the Prairie Wolves as a sophomore … played in 21 total games … got the start 10 times in left field and five in right field … committed just one error in the outfield … stuck out just six times in 44 at-bats … finished the year batting .227 with 10 hits including a double … went 2-for-3 with an RBI in victory over Concordia (Minn.) on March 22 … hit his only double in victory against Doane on April 25 … named a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.

Academic: Business Administration major.

In High School: A two-year starter in baseball at Waverly HS … named Academic All-State in baseball for the Vikings … was Academic All-Conference in baseball and basketball … helped Waverly to two NSAA State baseball appearances … played in one state legion baseball tournament.

Personal: Born 7/27/95, son of TJ and Leigh-Ann Ochsner … father also played baseball at Nebraska Wesleyan.
