Box Score SEWARD, Neb. -- 9th-ranked Concordia University shot 50 percent from 3-point range making 16-32 attempts as they rolled past Nebraska Wesleyan University 92-37 in GPAC women's basketball action on Wednesday night (Dec. 2) at the Walz Complex in Seward.
NWU had it's worst shooting performance of the season as they shot only 22.6 percent from the field for the game.
The Prairie Wolves (3-3, 2-2 GPAC) made just three field goals in the entire second half as they were 3-24 from the field.Â
NWU trailed 45-23 at halftime then struggled in the third quarter. The Prairie Wolves did not make a field goal until 37 seconds remaining in the quarter when
Felicia TeKolste made a 3-pointer. NWU was only 1-14 from the field in the third quarter and scored eight points in the quarter. TeKolste had seven of the eight points.
The fourth quarter wasn't much better for NWU as they hit 2-10 from the field in the final ten minutes.
Concordia was blazing the nets from deep as nearly half of their baskets were 3-pointers.  In the second half, the Bulldogs were 9-17 from 3-point range.Â
NWU was led by
Felicia TeKolste who scored 17 points and was the lone Prairie Wolf in double figures.
Concordia had five players in double figures with Aubri Bro scoring a team-high 15 points.
It won't get much easier for the Prairie Wolves on Saturday as they face the No. 1 team in the nation at Morningside College.
