Box Score Lincoln, NE – The Nebraska Wesleyan women's tennis team hosted Loras College on Friday afternoon in conference action, with the Duhawks earning a 6-1 victory.

The Prairie Wolves picked up a win at No. 1 doubles, where Kylie Engelsman and Madison Marsh earned a 6-4 victory over Brooke Burger and Mary Breitbach. However, Loras secured wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to claim the doubles point and take an early 1-0 lead.

Nebraska Wesleyan's lone team point came at No. 2 singles, as Madison Marsh posted a strong 6-1, 6-2 victory over Saydie Roling. At No. 3 singles, Sylvia Kamradt battled in a competitive match before falling 6-4, 6-3.

Despite several hard-fought performances throughout the lineup, the Prairie Wolves were unable to overcome the early deficit as Loras claimed the remaining singles matches.

Nebraska Wesleyan returns to action Saturday morning when it hosts the University of Dubuque at 10 a.m. in Lincoln.
