Nebraska Wesleyan’s Raegan Holle Named A-R-C Defensive Player of the Week

LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska Wesleyan senior libero Raegan Holle (Lincoln, Neb./Lincoln Lutheran) was named the American Rivers Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Aug. 25–31, the league announced on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

It marks Holle's second career A-R-C weekly honor and the Prairie Wolves' first Defensive Player of the Week since she won the recognition on Nov. 6, 2023.

Holle anchored the back row during NWU's 3-1 showing at the College of Saint Benedict Tournament, racking up 72 digs across four matches. She posted 14 digs in a sweep of Crown, 18 against Concordia (Minn.), 21 in a four-set win over Minnesota Morris, and 19 in a five-set thriller against host CSB. With the performance, Holle moved her career dig total to 1,126.

Nebraska Wesleyan opened the season with wins over Crown, Concordia (Minn.), and Minnesota Morris, and dropped a tightly contested match to CSB in front of a packed crowd.
