LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska Wesleyan University has announced the addition of
Evan Stewart to the Prairie Wolves Sports Medicine staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.
Stewart recently earned his Master of Science in Athletic Training from Missouri State University, where he worked with a variety of NCAA Division I and II programs, including football, basketball, and track & field. At NWU, he will primarily work with men's and women's cross country, swimming, track & field, and men's soccer.
"We are very excited to have Evan join our Sports Medicine Department," said Jason Ensrud, Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer. "His solid educational background has equipped him with a wealth of knowledge and skills that will help provide the highest quality healthcare to NWU student-athletes."
Stewart shared, "I'm most excited to be in a new unfamiliar area where I can meet people who challenge me to grow and experiences that push me out of my comfort zone."
He has officially begun his role with the Prairie Wolves.
