CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa. – Forty Nebraska Wesleyan University student-athletes were recognized for their success in the classroom, earning spots on the A-R-C Winter All-Academic Team.
The men's basketball program had two honorees and the women's basketball program added seven.
Men's wrestling added five selections. The Prairie Wolves swim program totaled 21 honorees with the men's team securing seven and the women's earning 14.
The Nebraska Wesleyan Cheer team had three honorees and the Gold Rush Dance Team added two others.
To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, be at least a sophomore academically, and have completed at least one full year at their current institution.
