Women's Tennis to Host Concordia, Thursday

Lincoln, NE (April 7th, 2025) - Nebraska Wesleyan is set to welcome Concordia to Lincoln, Thursday, looking to bounce back from a 7-0 loss to Doane last week. 

LOCATION & MATCH TIME
Nebraska Wesleyan will host Concordia on Thursday, April 10th. The match will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the LSF Tennis Complex in Lincoln, Nebraska.

ABOUT THE PRAIRIE WOLVES
Nebraska Wesleyan (8-7, 4-4 A-R-C) is 1-2 during spring play, after posting a 7-5 record during the fall. The Prairie Wolves hold a 6-12 record in spring singles play. 

HEAD COACH LEE STEINBROOK 
Lee Steinbrook is in his sixth year as head coach at Nebraska Wesleyan. Under his leadership, the Prairie Wolves have consistently grown and competed at a high level, with multiple players earning conference honors. Steinbrook's focus on developing both the athletic and academic skills of his players has been a cornerstone of the team's success.

NEBRASKA WESLEYAN WOMEN'S TENNIS HISTORY
Nebraska Wesleyan has a storied history in women's tennis, winning 16 conference regular-season championships and seven conference tournament championships.

A LOOK AT THE BULLDOGS
Concordia enters this week with a 12-2 overall record. The Bulldogs are 11-2 in spring play. Prior to playing NWU, Concordia will play Hastings College on Wednesday, April 9th. Concordia is coached by Lisa Hart.

SERIES HISTORY VS CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY
Thursday will mark the 23rd meeting between the Prairie Wolves and Bulldogs. Nebraska Wesleyan leads the all time series 15-7.
