Cedar Rapids, IA (April 28th, 2025) - Nebraska Wesleyan's Avery Decker earned American Rivers Conference Female Field Athlete of the Week honors, the conference announced in a press release Monday. This marks Decker's second time winning the award during the 2025 season.

Avery Decker took third place in Javelin at the 115th annual Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, while competing in a championship division field made up of seven division one athletes, and one division two athlete. Decker's throw of 46.04 meters marks her second farthest toss of the season, behind her nation leading 47.50 meter throw at the April 11th, Doane Dual. Decker holds the nation lead by 3.26 meters.

Decker will be back in action at the USD Tune-Up this weekend.
