LINCOLN, Neb. — Nebraska Wesleyan graduate student Avery Decker earned American Rivers Conference Women's Athlete of the Week honors Monday following another historic performance in the javelin.
Decker dominated at the Doane Dual last Friday (4/11), unleashing a national-leading throw of 47.50 meters, which is the 15th-best mark in NCAA Division III history. The distance extended her own DIII season lead by over three meters.
