LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska Wesleyan men's swimmers Kai Trotman, Alec Zurn, Ian Scheele, and Tommy Vasquez earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors Tuesday, recognizing their excellence in the pool and the classroom.

To qualify, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.50 GPA while competing in at least five meets or finishing top-eight at a conference championship.

Trotman, a junior exercise science major, set personal bests in the 50 free and 100 butterfly this season. Zurn, a sophomore nursing major, was a two-time All-Conference perfomer individually in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. Scheele, a junior elementary/special education major, scored in three events at the A-R-C Championships, while Vasquez, a sophomore accounting major, provided depth to the distance events this season.

The CSC Academic All-America® program honors student-athletes across NCAA Divisions I, II, III, and NAIA. Select Academic All-District selections advance to the national ballot, with winners announced April 22.
