Lincoln, NE. (March 25th, 2025) - After earning a dominant sweep of Grinnell, Nebraska Wesleyan looks to continue its winning ways on Wednesday against Bellevue.

Wednesday's game will be played at Sandhills Global Youth Complex, in Lincoln, Nebraska. First pitch is set for 5:00 p.m. Nebraska Wesleyan will live stream the game and carry live stats.

SCOUTING NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
Nebraska Wesleyan enters Wednesday with a 16-4 overall record. The Prairie Wolves rolled over Grinnell in their last series, outscoring the Pioneers 21-0. Nebraska Wesleyan enters this week with a team slash line of .351/.427/.461. The Prairie Wolves have totaled 130 runs on 175 hits, with three home runs and 110 RBIs. Defensively, the Black and Gold hold a .955 fielding percentage. Nebraska Wesleyan's pitchers have been dominant thus far, totaling 61 strike outs while posting a team ERA of 1.87. 

HEAD COACH MARY YORI
Head Coach Mary Yori is in her tenth season as the head coach of Nebraska Wesleyan's softball program. Yori was hired as Nebraska Wesleyan's first full time head softball coach in June of 2015. In ten seasons as head coach, Yori has complied a 193-143 record and was the 2016 AD3I All-Independent Co-Coach of the Year in her first season leading the Prairie Wolves. Yori coached Nebraska Wesleyan to its first NCAA tournament appearance in 2022. Last season, Yori helped lead the team to a 26-11 record and an A-R-C tournament appearance. Coach Yori also had five athletes named to the A-R-C All-Conference Team, with Lyndsey Roth and Val Gerlach also earning NFCA All-Region Third Team honors. 

NEBRASKA WESLEYAN SOFTBALL TRADITION
Nebraska Wesleyan's lone conference championship occurred in 1986. That season saw Nebraska Wesleyan post an 8-4 conference record in the NIAC. Nebraska Wesleyan's only NCAA tournament appearance occurred in 2022. That season saw Nebraska Wesleyan go 23-16 overall, and 8-8 in American Rivers Conference Play. 

SCOUTING THE BRUINS
Bellevue enters this week with an 11-10 record. The Bruins defeated the College of Saint Mary in their last game. The Bruins hold a slash line of .296/.370/.437, while scoring 98 runs on 170 hits. The Bruins are coached by Michala Cimino.
