LINCOLN, Neb. (Oct. 31, 2025) – Nebraska Wesleyan volleyball delivered a spooktacular Halloween performance inside Snyder Arena, sweeping Luther College 3–0 (25–22, 25–20, 25–10) in front of an energetic home crowd. With the win, the Prairie Wolves improved to 16–7 overall and 4–3 in American Rivers Conference play, while the Norse fell to 6–21 and 0–6 in league action.
NWU dominated from start to finish, controlling the tempo and showcasing balanced offensive firepower. Sophomore Jera Schuerman and Freshman Macy Plucker led the way with 11 kills each, while Molly Ramirez added 10 kills and a block in a well-rounded effort. Setter Elecea Saathoff kept the offense running smoothly with 34 assists and chipped in a block, while Raegan Holle anchored the defense with six digs.
Fans were treated to an electric atmosphere as the Prairie Wolves kept the energy high throughout the night, turning Snyder Arena into a haunted house for the visiting Norse.

Set One
Nebraska Wesleyan came out firing, using an early kill from Ramirez to grab a 4-2 lead. NWU closed out the opening frame 25–22 with a pair of aces from
Kobie Patten, setting the tone for the rest of the match.
Set Two
The Prairie Wolves maintained their momentum with sharp ball movement and relentless defense. Ella Foote and Jera Schuerman found their rhythm mid-set, tallying kills in a key 6–1 run that gave NWU breathing room. Saathoff's precise setting and Holle's scrappy back-row play helped seal a 25–20 win to go up 2–0.
Set Three
Luther showed fight early, trading points to an 5-5 tie, but the Prairie Wolves went on a huge run from there. With Ava Stone at the line, the Prairie Wolves would go on a 13-1 run. . NWU closed the match 25–10, completing the Halloween sweep in style.
