LINCOLN, Neb. (October 27, 2025) – Nebraska Wesleyan swimmers Mattia Rosatelli and Ryleigh Schroeter have been named the American Rivers Conference Swimmers of the Week following standout performances in Friday's dual meet against Minnesota-Morris at the Weary Natatorium. Rosatelli earned the men's honor, while Schroeter claimed the women's award, as the Prairie Wolves swept the Cougars with scores of 135-67 on the men's side and 145-57 on the women's.
Rosatelli, a junior from Italy, was dominant in his season debut, winning two individual events and contributing to a relay victory. He captured the 400 Individual Medley with a time of 4:25.10, finishing nearly 20 seconds ahead of the field, and followed with a win in the 100 Breaststroke at 1:00.39. His performance accounted for 18 individual points and set an early tone for the Prairie Wolves' depth and dominance.
Schroeter, a freshman from Blair, Nebraska, was equally impressive on the women's side, picking up two individual wins and contributing to a relay title. She opened her night with a victory in the 200 Freestyle, clocking 2:02.71, then added a win in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:02.20. Schroeter also anchored NWU's 400 Medley Relay to first place with a 55.33 freestyle split. Her performance helped the Prairie Wolves roll to a commanding 145-57 team victory.
The dual win marks a strong start to the 2025-26 season for Nebraska Wesleyan, which returns to the pool next weekend for continued non-conference competition.
