LINCOLN, Neb. (September 2nd, 2024) - As the fall season begins, Nebraska Wesleyan's women's tennis team is ready to hit the courts, facing off against Central College in their season opener on Tuesday afternoon.

The match will take place at LSF Sports Complex, in Lincoln, Nebraska. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
ABOUT THE PRAIRIE WOLVES
Nebraska Wesleyan returns many contributors from last year's team including
Addi Duranski,
Parker Brown. Last season, Duranski and Brown formed a formidable doubles team, finishing the season with 5-3 record. Both players represented NWU on the 2023 American Rivers All-Conference team, with Duranski picking up first team honors, and Brown obtaining an honorable mention selection. Nebraska Wesleyan went 4-7 in 2023, with a 3-5 record against conference opponents.
HEAD COACH LEE STEINBROOK
Lee Steinbrook is entering year six as the head coach at Nebraska Wesleyan. Under his leadership, the Prairie Wolves have continued to grow and compete at a high level, with multiple players earning conference honors. Steinbrook's commitment to developing both the athletic and academic skills of his players has been a cornerstone of the team's success.
NEBRASKA WESLEYAN WOMEN'S TENNIS HISTORY
Nebraska Wesleyan has a history of success in women's tennis, winning 16 conference regular season championships, and seven conference tournament championships.
A LOOK AT CENTRAL COLLEGE
Last season saw the Dutch go 10-12 overall, and 4-4 in the American Rivers Conference. Central is coached by Ryun Ferrell, who will be entering his 11th season in 2024.
