LINCOLN, Neb. — Nebraska Wesleyan University women's tennis players Parker Brown, Gracey Smith and Caitlin Hudson have been named to the 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District Women's Tennis Team, the College Sports Communicators announced Tuesday.
Smith and Brown earned the honor for the second consecutive year, while Hudson received the recognition for the first time in her career.
Brown, a junior majoring in political science, posted a 3.94 cumulative grade-point average. Hudson, a senior studying philosophy and religion, carries a 3.88 GPA. Smith, a senior majoring in business administration, recorded a 3.65 GPA.
The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, carry a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 and meet certain requirements in terms of contests competed in and athletic accomplishments. The program recognizes honorees across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Nebraska Wesleyan finished the 2024-25 season 2-9 overall and 2-6 in American Rivers Conference play.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, where first, second and third-team honorees will be selected at the national level.
