Box Score HOW IT HAPPENED
Nebraska Wesleyan continued to ride the victory train on their first weekend away against Principia College, winning 5-0 in St. Louis, Mo. on August 31, 2024. The black and gold came out quick with a goal being scored by
Caden Tubaugh in the first minute. The score was assisted by
Andrew Davidson at the 00:13 mark.
Thomas Pisasale continued the scoring run in the first half, hitting the net unassisted to make the score 2-0 at the 16:14 mark.
The second half was also dominated by the Prairie Wolves.
Thomas Pisasale was having himself a game, recording another unassisted goal at the 55:26 mark. Then, in the 68th minute,
Nick Brickman (assist) and
Thomas Pisasale (goal) teamed up to earn another goal for the black and gold, 4-0. The goal capped off Thomas Pissale's first career hat trick as a Prairie Wolf.
The second half remained physical. However, the elevated emotions and physicality did not effect the Prairie Wolves, as
Morgan Armagost found the back of the net with the help of
Hayden Byarlay at the 81:44 mark.
Nebraska Wesleyan recorded 16 total shots with seven shots on target. Principia finished with 13 shots and tied the Prairie Wolves with 7 shots on target. The Prairie Wolves had seven corner kicks compared to the Panthers four.
