A-R-C TOURNAMENT
vs. (5) Simpson (5-6-4, 2-4-1 A-R-C)
Saturday, October 31 | 1 p.m.
The Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer team begins postseason play Saturday when it hosts Simpson in the 2026 A-R-C Championship Tournament quarterfinals at Abel Stadium.
This marks the sixth consecutive season the Prairie Wolves have qualified for the tournament, the fourth-longest active streak in the A-R-C. NWU earned the No. 4 seed in the six-team, single-elimination bracket and will face fifth-seeded Simpson at 1 p.m.
The Prairie Wolves hold a 12-15-4 all-time record against the Storm, but earned a 3-2 victory in this year's regular-season meeting at Abel Stadium. NWU also has the recent postseason edge, defeating Simpson 1-0 in the 2024 A-R-C quarterfinals before advancing to the tournament championship game.
A win Saturday would send the Prairie Wolves back to the A-R-C semifinals, where they would face either top-seeded Dubuque or Wartburg. The two semifinal contests will be played Wednesday, Nov. 4, hosted by the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, Dubuque and Wartburg, respectively. The championship game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7.
Nebraska Wesleyan's match will be streamed on the American Rivers Sports Network. Additional information, the tournament bracket and results are available on the official tournament homepage.
