LINCOLN, Neb. (August 30th, 2024) - Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer kicks off the 2024 season with road games against Westminster College and Principia College.
LOCATION, GAME TIME, LIVE STREAM & LIVE STATS
- Nebraska Wesleyan will play Westminster at Kent and Judith Mueller Stadium, in Fulton, Missouri. The game is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. Westminster will live stream the game and carry live stats.
- Following Friday's game, Nebraska Wesleyan will travel to Elsah, Illinois, to face Principa College on Saturday, August 31st. Game time is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Principia will live stream the game and carry live stats.

Nebraska Wesleyan soccer boasts four conference championships and a 285-226-46 all-time record, including a perfect 19-0 season in 1999.
SCOUTING THE BLUE JAYS
Westminster College went 5-10-2 in 2023, and finished sixth in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Westminster averaged 1.59 goals per game, and allowed 1.18 goals per game. The Blue Jays took 185 shots in 2023 and finished the season with 114 shots on goal. Westminster also had 22 assists.
SERIES HISTORY AGAINST WESTMINSTER COLLEGE
Friday will mark the fifth match up between Nebraska Wesleyan and Westminster. Nebraska Wesleyan leads the all-time series 3-1. Last season, the Prairie Wolves beat the Blue Jays 5-0 at Abel Stadium.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
Principia College went 3-12-1 in 2023, and finished ninth in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Principia averaged 1.25 goals per game, and allowed 2.69 goals per game. The Panthers took 169 shots in 2023 and finished the season with 74 shots on goal. Principia also had 12 assists.
