LINCOLN, Neb. (June 25, 2024) - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2023-24 Academic All-District M/W At-Large Teams on Tuesday. Six Nebraska Wesleyan University student-athletes were recognized for both their academic and athletic achievements this season.
Bethany Krenzer,
Madi Witcig and
Clara Whyman of NWU Gold Rush,
Madison Jackson of women's golf,
John Lapour of men's golf and
Seth Littrell of wrestling
were awarded CSC Academic All-District. Jackson and Lapour are earning All-District accolades for the second time in their careers. Krenzer, Witcig, Whyman and Littrell are receiving their first honor from the CSC.
The 2023-24 Academic All-District® M/W At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in their respective sport and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes M/W At-Large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in July.
