LINCOLN, Neb. (March 9, 2024) - At the NCAA Division III indoor track and field national championships on Saturday, three Nebraska Wesleyan University track and field athletes made history, earning All-American honors for the Prairie Wolves. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Isabella Hogue finished sixth in the 400-meter dash to earn an All-America spot. Eli Etherton finished sixth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.02, while Eli Mackowski finished second in the high jump with a leap of 2.07 meters. 
• Hogue ran a 56.07 on Friday to earn a spot in the 400-meter finals, and on Saturday, she finished fifth in the event. She took part in the 4x400-meter relay as well. Her team, consisting of Isabella Hilger, Bre Geary, and Gabby Thomas, placed 9th after running 3:51.99.
• Mackowski outjumped almost every competitor in the competition during high jump. The junior won a silver medal.
• In the 60-meter hurdles, Etherton's time of 7.96 in the prelims matched his own school record. The junior earned an All-American for the second time. Etherton won the event last year.
