LINCOLN, Neb. (March 26, 2024) - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2024 Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team on Tuesday. Three Nebraksa Wesleyan University men's basketball student-athletes were recognized for both their academic and athletic achievements this season.

Guard Carter Glenn, forward Landon Torneton, and forward Elijah Thatch were awarded CSC Academic All-District. This is the first time each player has earned All-District accolades.

The 2024 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.

Glenn was selected as a CSC Academic All-America finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 17, 2024. Over the course of 30 games, the junior averaged 15.7 points per game and finished seventh in the country with 76 steals.
