CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (November 25, 2024) - Nebraska Wesleyan freshman Lilly Brennan was named the American Rivers Conference Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 18-24. This marks Brennan's first career A-R-C Athlete of the Week honor.

A-R-C WOMEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
She earned the award by delivering record-breaking performances at the three-day Phoenix Invitational, hosted by the University of Chicago. Brennan broke two school records and contributed to two relay records while competing against top-tier regional competition.
Brennan finished ninth in the 200-yard backstroke with a program-best time of 2:10.51 and set another school record in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.19.
She also played a pivotal role in the 400-yard medley relay, leading off with her backstroke leg to help the team achieve a school-record time of 3:59.99. Additionally, Brennan contributed to a record-setting performance in the 200-yard medley relay, where the team clocked a time of 1:48.07.
The Prairie Wolves will take a break for the holidays and return to action Jan. 11-12 for a dual meet at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
