HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Prairie Wolves opened the match with a strong effort but fell short in a closely contested first set, losing 25-22. Despite Patten's efforts, Dubuque's defense proved challenging, keeping NWU from gaining momentum in critical moments. Addie Thomas and Ella Foote both contributed at the net, each with a solo block in the first.
In the second set, Dubuque took control with a 25-13 win, as NWU struggled to counter the Spartans' offense. Addie Thomas contributed defensively with 12 digs and added five kills on the attack.
