LINCOLN, Neb. (October 5, 2024) – Nebraska Wesleyan volleyball competed in a triangular at Grant Gym, facing Webster University and Hannibal-La Grange. The Prairie Wolves went 1-1 on the day, bouncing back with a sweep in the second match after dropping their opener.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Nebraska Wesleyan struggled against Webster, falling in straight sets (25-20, 25-18, 25-19). The Prairie Wolves had difficulty maintaining offensive momentum, with Webster executing key runs in each set to pull ahead. Despite solid efforts from Addie Thomas and Kobie Patten, Nebraska Wesleyan couldn't overcome Webster's tough defense, resulting in a 0-3 loss to start the day.

Nebraska Wesleyan rebounded in their second match, sweeping Hannibal-La Grange (25-14, 25-15, 25-11) with a dominant performance. The Prairie Wolves controlled the match from the start, using strong serving and consistent offense to stay ahead. Addie Thomas and Kobie Patten led the attack, while Aliah Clarke anchored the middle with blocks to timely kills.
