LINCOLN, Neb. (October 23, 2024) – Nebraska Wesleyan women's volleyball secured a 3-1 victory over Central College in an intense four-set match at Snyder Arena. The Prairie Wolves improved to 17-6 overall and 4-1 in American Rivers Conference play, while Central dropped to 16-7 and 3-2 in the conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Prairie Wolves came out strong, winning the first set 25-16. They maintained control in the second set, edging out Central in a closely contested 26-24 finish. Central fought back in the third set, taking it 25-18, but Nebraska Wesleyan responded with resilience in the fourth, winning 26-24 to close out the match.
Nebraska Wesleyan's Addie Thomas led the attack with 17 kills, while Kobie Patten and Aliah Clarke added 11 and 6 kills, respectively. Setter Elecea Saathoff orchestrated the offense with 40 assists, while Raegan Holle and Molly Ramirez anchored the defense with key digs and blocks.
