LINCOLN, Neb. (October 12, 2024) – Nebraska Wesleyan women's tennis had a strong showing at the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Individual Championships in Pella, Iowa. The Prairie Wolves were highly competitive in both singles and doubles action.
Singles
- B-Singles: Anna Burt claimed a victory over the No. 1 seed and teammate in the B-Singles bracket, Crystal Craft. Burt showcased resilience and determination, making a deep run before finishing in fourth place overall in close matches.
- C and D Singles: The rest of the Nebraska Wesleyan roster also put in solid performances. Addi Duranski was the top seed in C-Singles, but ultimately fell in a heart breaking tie-breaker match in the round of 16. Sylvia Kamradt won a match in D-Singles before falling in the round of 16.
Doubles
- A-Doubles: In doubles competition, the pairing of Addie Duranski and Anna Burt turned heads by defeating the top-seeded team in the A-Doubles bracket. Their impressive play earned them a spot in the semifinals, where they narrowly missed advancing further, finishing fourth after battling closely contested matches.
- B-Doubles: Ella Ford and Crystal Craft earned the top seed in the B-Doubles bracket. The pairing won two matches before following narrowly in the semifinals, ultimately finishing fourth.

Nebraska Wesleyan has now completed its fall season. They will look to continue their momentum in the spring.
