LINCOLN, Neb.- Nebraska Wesleyan men's golf used a first place finish by
Geran Sander to win the Iowa Western Intercollegiate Showcase.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Over the course of three rounds, the Prairie Wolves shot 880 (+16). The Prairie Wolves team score is a new 54-hole school record. Nebraska Wesleyan's best round occurred on Tuesday when the Prairie Wolves shot 287 (-1).
- Nebraska Wesleyan was led by Geran Sander, who shot 207 (-9) during the invitational and earned a first place finish. Sander shot 69 (-3) during each round. Sander's 209 also set an individual 54-hole school record.
- John Lapour also finished in the top 10, shooting 221 (+5).

Nebraska Wesleyan will travel to Axtell, Nebraska to compete at the Nebraska Golf Association Intercollegiate. The tournament will be held on Friday, October 6, and Saturday, October 7, at Awarii Dunes Golf Course.
