For the first time in program history, the Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer team will play Lake Forest College and Pacific Lutheran University. Both games will be held at a neutral site on the campus of Colorado College to begin the 2023 season.

A LOOK AT NEBRASKA WESLEYAN

The Prairie Wolves start the season with twenty returners and thirteen freshmen. The Black and Gold ended last season 7-8-3, which was good enough for a fourth-place finish in the American Rivers Conference. Nebraska Wesleyan brings back Alex Kohler and Thomas Distefano, who combined for 12 goals a season ago. Defensively, goalie Zachary Weis returns after recording 71 saves across 15 games.

A LOOK AT LAKE FOREST COLLEGE

The Foresters ended last season 8-9-3, finishing first in the Midwest Conference. Last season the Foresters won their conference tournament and went on to qualify for the NCAA Division III tournament where they lost in the first round to St. Olaf College. Nebraska Wesleyan will be the first game of the season for Lake Forest College.

A LOOK AT PACIFIC LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY

Pacific Lutheran University ended last season 18-4, finishing the fall season second in the Northwest Conference. The Lutes went on to qualify for the NCAA Division III tournament where they won against the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and lost to the University of St. Thomas. Nebraska Wesleyan will be the second game for the Lutes this season.
