Lincoln, Nebraska- Eleven members of the Nebraska Wesleyan track and field team will compete at the Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Rochester, New York. The championship meet will run from Thursday, May 25th, through Saturday, May 27th.

WOMEN NATIONAL QUALIFIERS

Isabella Hogue: 
Events Qualified In: 100 Meter Dash and 4x400 Meter Relay
Seed Times: 100- 11.86
                      4x400- 3:49.05

• Isabella Hogue is a three time National Champion and a six time All- American, and is making her second consecutive appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Last season, Hogue won the 100 and 200 meter dash. At the 2023 indoor championships, Hogue earned a second place finish in the 60 meter dash, and a third place finish in the 200 meter dash. After missing multiple weeks due to injury, Hogue has turned it on down the stretch. She placed third in the 100 meter dash at the A-R-C Outdoor Championships and followed that performance up with a season best time in the 100 at the Augustana College Midwest Twilight Qualifier. At the Qualifying meet, Hogue also helped the 4x400 meter relay run a season best time and clinch a berth to nationals. 

Isabella Hilger:

• Isabella Hilger is a two time All American, and is making her second appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. In her previous appearance at the outdoor championships, Hilger helped the 4x400 meter relay earn an eighth place finish. This season, Hilger helped the 4x400 earn bronze at the A-R-C outdoor championships. A week later, Hilger played a vital role in helping the relay run it's fastest time of the season at the Augustana Midwest Qualifier. 

Alexa Koza:
Event Qualified In: 4x400 Meter Relay
Seed Time: 3:49.05

• Alexa Koza is making her first appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. In 2022, Koza earned All- American honors in the 4x400 meter relay at the NCAA Indoor Championships. This season, Koza battled back from an early season injury to help the 4x400 earn a third place finish at the A-R-C championship meet. A week later, Koza helped the 4x400 run a season best at the Augustana Midwest Qualifier.

Bre Geary:
Event Qualified In: 4x400 Meter Relay
Seed Time: 3:49.05

• Bre Geary is making her second appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. In 2021, Geary ran on the National Qualifying 4x100 meter relay that earned a 13th place finish at Nationals. This season, Geary has played a crucial role in the 4x400 meter relay, helping it earn a third place finish at the A-R-C Outdoor Championships. Then at the Augustana Qualifier, Geary helped the 4x400 meter relay run a season best time and earn a berth to the national meet.

Avery Decker:
Event Qualified In: Javelin
Seed Distance: 48.43 m / 158' 11''

• Avery Decker is making her second consecutive appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Last season, Decker earned All- American honors by placing seventh in javelin. This season, Decker earned four first place finished in javelin, including a gold medal performance at the A-R-C Outdoor Championships. Decker enters the national meet with the farthest qualifying throw. 

Ellie Akough

• Ellie Akough is making her first appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. During indoor season, Akough earned All- American honors in the weight throw. During outdoor season, Akough earned two victories in the discus along with a second place finish in the at the A-R-C Outdoor Championships. In the hammer throw, Akough unleashed her season best at the USD Tune Up and later earned a fourth place finish at the A-R-C Championship meet.

MEN NATIONAL QUALIFIERS

Kyle Dickinson:
Events Qualified In: 400 Meter Dash and 4x400 Meter Relay

• Kyle Dickinson is a four time All- American, and is making his third appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Last season, Dickinson earned a sixth place finish at the outdoor championships in the 400 meter dash. This season, Dickinson built on last year's performance, setting a new school record in the 400 while winning the event at the A-R-C Outdoor Championships. The following week at the Augustana Qualifier, Dickinson helped the men's 4x400 meter relay break the school record and clinch the second fastest qualifying time to the national meet. 

Gabe Anderson:
Event Qualified In: 4x400 Meter Relay

• Gabe Anderson is making his second appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. In 2021, Anderson ran on the 4x400 meter relay team that finished 11th overall. During the 2023 indoor season, Anderson earned All- American honors in the 4x400 meter relay. During outdoor season, Anderson helped the 4x400 earn a third place finish at the A-R-C Outdoor Championships. Anderson also helped the squad break Nebraska Wesleyan's 4x400 relay record the following week at Augustana.

Morgan Conner:

• Morgan Conner is making his first appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Conner qualified for the 2023 indoor championship meet in the long jump. During outdoor season, Conner became a key member of the 4x4 team and helped it earn a third place finish at the A-R-C Outdoor Championships. Conner also helped the relay break the 4x400 school record at the Augustana Twilight Qualifier. 

Garrett Lenners:
Events Qualified In: 800 Meter Run and 4x400 Meter Relay

                    4x400- 3:09.79

• Garrett Lenners is a four time All- American, and is making his third appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Last season, Lenners finished fourth in the 800 at the outdoor championships. During Indoor season, Lenners earned All- American honors in the 800 and 4x400 meter relay. During outdoor season, Lenners raced to a school record and silver medal at the A-R-C Outdoor Championships. A week later, Lenners ran the anchor leg of a 4x4 that broke the school record at the Augustana Qualifier.

Eli Mackowski
Event Qualified In: High Jump
Seed Height: 2.05 m / 6' 8.75''

• Eli Mackowski is making his first appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Mackowski set his personal best and qualifying mark at the Jim Dutcher Memorial Classic. Later in the season, Mackowski earned a bronze medal at the A-R-C Outdoor Championships.
