Softball Falls in Intra-State Series with Midland University

Game 1

Nebraska Wesleyan University was topped by Midland University, 2-0, in a Game 1 pitchers-dual on Wednesday night.
Elise Warneke started the game for the Prairie Wolves and recorded all 21 outs.
Warneke took the loss for the Black and Gold, giving up two runs on six hits over seven innings, striking out five and walking zero.
Unfortunately, NWU's offense could not get going, enabling the Warriors to go seven innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out 14 and walking zero.

Game 2

The Black and Gold fell behind early and couldn't complete the comeback in a 13-6 loss against the Midland University Warriors on Wednesday.
Despite the defeat, Nebraska Wesleyan did collect eight hits in the high-scoring affair.
The Prairie Wolves tallied three runs in the fourth inning. Addie Duranski, Hannah Roth, and Emma Alfieri each had RBIs in the big inning.
Isabella Harris took the loss for Nebraska Wesleyan University. Harris gave up three runs on one hit over one-third of an inning.
Emma Alfieri and Val Gerlach, each managed to record multiple hits for Prairie Wolves
The Prairie Wolves did not commit a single error in the field. At shortshop, Alfieri had the most chances in the field with six.
