Two Match Wins Not Enough as Wrestling Loses to Dubuque

HOW IT HAPPENED

On Thursday night in Dubuque, Iowa, Nebraska Wesleyan Wrestling earned victories at two separate weights but fell to Dubuque 43-9.
Eron Haynes and Zeth Gerkensmeyer scored for Nebraska Wesleyan as the Prairie Wolves defeated the Spartans in two matches.
The dual's most thrilling match was Eron Haynes' 4:19 Fall victory against Jesus Sanchez. Haynes, a senior, won his season's first and lone dual match.
Fellow P-Wolf Zeth Gerkensmeyer was the first to put points on the board for Nebraska Wesleyan with an 9-3 decision over Thomas McCreadie at 174lbs.
