Volleyball Falls in Five to Dubuque

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Nebraska Wesleyan volleyball team took two sets against Dubuque before falling in five sets, 3-2, on Friday night at Dubuque, Iowa.
  • NWU (17-7, 6-1 A-R-C) battled UD (19-8, 6-0 A-R-C) early on, but couldn't capitalize and lost 16-25, 27-25, 25-22, 23-25, 9-15.
  • Addie Thomas led the squad with 21 kills, while Molly Ramirez contributed 10 kills. Elecea Saathoff had 42 assists, while Raegan Holle had 24 digs. Aliah Clarke led the squad in blocks with six.
  • Nebraska Wesleyan took two sets on Dubuque for the first time since October 2021, also at Dubuque.
  • With 24 digs, Holle set a new career best.
  • Holle, Thomas, Ramirez, Kobie Patten, and Lauren Maciejewski all had double-digit dig totals, with Thomas recording a double-double.
