HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Nebraska Wesleyan volleyball team defeated Loras 3-1 on Saturday afternoon to earn its eighth A-R-C victory.
• Nebraska Wesleyan finished with 48 kills, 65 digs, 41 assists, and 9.0 blocks. With 19 kills, junior Addie Thomas led the squad, while junior Aliah Clarke and fifth-year Nyah Chambers each had four blocks.
• Loras went on to win the first set 25-18, with a team kill percentage of .261.
• Loras started out strong in the second set, but Nebraska Wesleyan hung on and didn't allow the gap get too large.  Nebraska Wesleyan eventually evened the match by winning the second set, 30-28.
• Set three was tense, with points being traded back and forth. The set went on, and sophomore Kobie Patten struck the game-winning ace, 25-20.
• The fourth set got out to a 7-3 run. After a Thomas kill, Nebraska Wesleyan extended their lead to 17-11. The Prairie Wolves eventually won the set, 25-15, with to a kill from Thomas and a service ace by Elecea Saathoff.
