HOW IT HAPPENED

• Nebraska Wesleyan Volleyball extended its winning streak to five games with a 25-15, 25-18, 25-19 victory against Grinnell on Monday at Snyder Arena.
• The Prairie Wolves (15-6, 4-0) hit .239 in the match and had five blocks to complete the sweep of the Pioneers.
• Addie Thomas had another stellar performance, finishing with 11 kills, 10 digs, and a.171 hitting percentage. Jaclyn Riedl had 10 kills and two blocks.
• Nyah Chambers had three kills and a block, while Molly Ramirez had ten kills and a block.
• Elecea Saathoff had 32 assists, seven digs, two blocks, and two kills in the game. Kobie Patten led the squad in digs with 14 and had two service aces.
• The Prairie Wolves dominated the opening set, winning 25-15, hitting .273 and limiting Grinnell to .095. Thomas had five kills in the first set.
• The second set was a much more difficult battle with the teams deadlocked at 7-all before the Prairie Wolves went on a 7-4 run to lead 14-11. Nebraska Wesleyan won the set, 25-18, to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
• To complete the sweep, Nebraska Wesleyan had to battle in the third set. The Prairie Wolves ended the game with a 4-1 run to defeat the Pioneers.
