Wrestling Competes Against Familiar Faces at A-R-C Duals

HOW IT HAPPENED

Coach Brandon Bradley's team competed against some of the best in the country at the American Rivers Conference Duals. The Prairie Wolves faced three nationally rated teams in Loras College (#7), Luther College (#9), and Coe College (#19), as well as a tough conference opponent in Simpson College.
In their first dual against Simpson College, the Prairie Wolves dominated the middle weights with three consectutive wins from Jared Gallub, Travis Guzman, and Emmanuel Zepeda. Gallub and Guzman both earned major decisions, while Zepeda earned the Fall.
Jared Gallub continued his success agianst Loras College's Chase Fiser earning a 3-2 decision win.
Against Coe College 141 lb. wrestler Christian Keller got the NWU team on the board with a win by fall over Coe College's Bryce Parke. Andrew Luna and Zeth Gerkensmeyer picked up back to back wins in the 165 lb. and 174 lb weight classes respectively.
Emmanuel Zepeda and Zeth Gerkensmeyer both picked up their second wins on the day agianst Luther College.
