Women's Basketball Unable to Put Together Offense at Luther

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Nebraska Wesleyan fell to the Norse of Luther College, 81-42, on Saturday afternoon.
  • Luther started the game behind an impressive 69.23 shooting percentage and tough defense. The Norse led 26-6 after one quarter of play.
  • NWU put together their best quarter of offense in the second. Brianna Denton recorded seven of her nine total points and the black and gold added 15 points to their total, 21-50.
  • The Prairie Wolves defense broke through in the third and fourth quarter. Nebraska Wesleyan forced 11 turnovers.
  • Luther cooled off in the second half on offense, but never let the Prairie Wolves back in the game.
