College of St. Scholastica
- NWU came out clean and efficient in Set 1. They recorded 16 kills to the Saints' nine and committed just five errors. The Prairie Wolves would go on to take the 1-0 advantage, winning 25-22.
- In sets two, three, and four, the tides turned. College of St. Scholastica's offense caught fire and Nebraska Wesleyan had a hard time matching their success. The black and gold made 18 errors in the final three sets and posted a .113 hitting percentage.Â
- The Saints handed NWU their third loss of the season and first in Wisconsin.Â
University of Wisconsin-SuperiorÂ
- The Prairie Wolves and Yellow Jackets went back and forth in Set 1. Tied at 22 a piece, NWU closed things out with kills from Mackenzie Scurto and Kobie Patten and a bad set from Wisconsin-Superior, 25-22
- The sweep wasn't easy for Nebraska Wesleyan. Set 2 and 3 both went beyond 25 points for the Prairie Wolves.Â
- Nyah Chambers capped off the second set with back-to-back kills, both assisted by Erica Hopping, 28-26. Mackenzie Scurto and Addie Thomas had a say in things to close out Set 3. The duo connected on two consecutive kills to help NWU pick up their first win of the weekend, 26-24.Â
NorthlandÂ
- Despite going just three sets, neither team seemed to get in a flow offensively. The Prairie Wolves hit just .184% throughout the match compared to the LumberJills -.109%.Â
- NWU finished Set 1 on a 5-0 run, taking an early lead, 1-0.
- Things were more competitive in the second set, but that was before a Shae Gallery kill and an error from Northland closed things out and extended Nebraska Wesleyan's advantage to 2-0.Â
- The Prairie Wolves were looking for their second sweep of the weekend going into the final set and they did just that. Leading 23-12, Kobe Patten served up two aces to get NWU to 25 points.Â
MacalesterÂ
- Nebraska Wesleyan dominantly took the first two sets, 25-14 and 25-21. It looked as if for the third straight match, the black and gold were going to sweep their opponents.
- Macalester had different plans. The Scots came back winning sets three and four and forced a fifth and final set.Â
- Not satisfied with how they were performing, Cain's squad went back to what they do best in Set 5, feeding their pin hitters. Addie Thomas, Sidney Hauptman and Mackenzie Scurto combined for nine of NWU's 15 points.
