OMAHA, Neb. (April 8, 2022) - The Nebraska Wesleyan women's tennis team fell to the College of Saint Mary, 5-2, at Genesis Health Club in Omaha. It was the first spring match of the season for the Prairie Wolves. 

The Flames jumped out to an early 3-0 match lead by winning all three doubles points. However, the Prairie Wolves responded with a pair of wins in singles action. Brook Sailer picked up the point for NWU at No. 1 Singles. Sailer won the match in three sets, dominating the final set 10-3. Crystal Craft also earned a point for Nebraska Wesleyan with a victory at No. 3 Singles. Craft cruised in the first set then won a tough second set, 7-6. 

Greta Wostoupal nearly picked a win at No.4 Singles for NWU. Wostoupal was edged out in a heartbreaking match, falling by just two points in the last set. Additionally, It was Wostoupal's first match as a Prairie Wolf.
