Women's Tennis Falls In Season Finale


SEWARD, Neb. (April 20, 2022) - The Nebraska Wesleyan women's tennis team fell to Concordia, 5-2, in a non-conference dual in Seward, Nebraska. It was NWU's final match of the 2021-2022 season.

The Bulldogs earned one point in the NAIA scoring system by winning two of the three doubles matches. Greta Wostoupal and Anna Burt won their match at No. 2 Doubles, 6-4.

In singles action, Concordia won four matches for four match points with Nebraska Wesleyan claiming a pair of matches. The Prairie Wolves got on the board with a point at No. 3 Singles. Crystal Craft won a hard-fought match in three sets. Craft dropped the first set then bounced back to win the second set, 7-5, and the tiebreaker, 10-5. 

Anna Burt picked up NWU's second point with a victory at No. 5 Singles. Burt cruised to an easy win, winning both sets by a 6-1 margin.
