Women's Basketball Wins Close Game Against Central College

How It Happened
  • Central College started hot but the Prairie Wolves fought back and brought their deficit to three at the end of the first quarter, 14-17. 
  • Nebraska Wesleyan found themselves down 29-34 heading into halftime. 
  • A low scoring third quarter ended with Central holding a 41-49 lead over the black and gold.
  • The Prairie Wolves staged a comeback and outscored the Dutch 25-16 in the fourth quarter and took a their first lead when Anna Vandenack made two free throws with four seconds left.
  • The Prairie Wolves won the game 66-65 and picked up their first A-R-C win of the season.
  • The Prairie Wolves out rebounded the Dutch 46-34, and doubled up Central in second chance points 16-8. 
  • Ellie Bream and Ellie Barrows both scored 13 points to lead the Coach Bullock's squad in scoring.
