HOW IT HAPPENED
- Nebraska Wesleyan captured the first set against Buena Vista 25-22. The Prairie Wolves were led by strong play from outside hitter Mackenzie Scurto.
- In the second set, both teams went on runs of three and four points. NWU was able to outlast the Beavers as they scored the final three points, 25-20.
- The Beavers got out to a commanding 14-7 lead in Set 3. Nebraska Wesleyan was able to battle back and take the lead, however Buena Vista scored four straight to force a fourth set, 26-24.
- The Prairie Wolves found themselves behind again in Set 4 as the Beavers took a 20-14 lead. The Prairie Wolves were unable to climb out of the deficit and lost Set 4, 25-22.
- Set 5 was dominated by Buena Vista as they defeated Nebraska Wesleyan in the fifth, 15-7.
