HOW IT HAPPENED

• Nebraska Wesleyan started off on the wrong foot in the first set. Wesleyan struggled to side-out after gaining a 5-2 lead as Luther went on a 6 point run to get them up 7-6.  Addie Thomas helped the P-Wolves battle back to only down by 2 at 14-16 but it was not enough as they finished the first set 15-25. 
• In the second set, Luther and Wesleyan went head to head but the Norse fought for a 5 point run with help from Sarina Stortz to get them ahead 7-4. P-Wolves put in the work as Erica Hopping distributed the ball across the net and worked their way to 25-16 lead at the end of the second set.
• Tied up going into the third, Nebraska Welseyan went on a 7 point run with 2 aces from Kobie Patten and kills by Nyah Chambers and Mackenzie Scruto to lead 14-10. The Norse put up a fight but it was not enough as Mackenzie Scruto put away an assist by Erica Hopping to end the Third 25-18. 
• NWU up 2 sets to 1, Taylor Holter helped tie it up 16-16 with a kill at the net. Mackenzie Scruto pushed through the tie with 4 kills against the Norse and to end, setter Erica Hopping put it away to end the game 25-21.  
• With a total of 46 kills, 10 aces, and 78 digs Nebraska Wesleyan Volleyball Defeats Luther College 3 sets to 1.
