Women’s Track and Field Appears In National Rankings


NEW ORLEANS (January 25, 2022) - The Nebraska Wesleyan women's track and field team was nationally ranked by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in its January 25 poll. 

The Prairie Wolves were tabbed 15th in the season's first poll with 46.55 points. NWU is one of four teams in the American Rivers Conference to be slotted in the top 15 of the poll as well. 

Nebraska Wesleyan has two student-athletes with times that rank either first or second in NCAA Division III. Last week, Maddie Moran turned in the division's best time in the 60-meter dash at 7.67 seconds. Isabella Hogue ranks second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.09 in last week's meet. Additionally, Reagan Janzen ranks 15th in the division for the 800-meter run and Isabella Hilger ranks 18th in the 400-meter dash.
