Men’s Soccer Bested To Open Texas Road Trip

SEGUIN, Texas (September 4, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer fell on the road to Texas Lutheran University, 2-0, in Seguin, Texas. The non-conference loss is the first by the Prairie Wolves since September 8, 2019. 

The Prairie Wolves ran into a rigid defense in the their first loss of the season. NWU was held to to one shot on goal compared to TLU's 11. Alex Koehler was credited with Nebraska Wesleyan's lone shot in the match. The Bulldogs also took 10 cornerkicks whereas Nebraska Wesleyan was unable to register a corner. 

Zach Selph tallied a match-high nine saves in net for NWU. Selph also logged all 90 minutes in goal. Logan Lawrence, Logan Clark, and Jackson McGowan also played all 90 minutes of the match.
