LINCOLN, Neb. (September 29, 2021) - The Nebraska Wesleyan women's tennis team fell to Doane, 9-0, at the Lincoln Sports Foundation Sports Complex. 

The Tigers took all three doubles points to open the match. NWU fought hard at No. 1 Doubles as Brooke Sailer and Ella Ford dropped the set, 8-4.

In Singles action, Ford competed hard in the first and second sets of No. 2 Singles. Ford scored five points between the two sets but wasn't able to secure a match point for the Prairie Wolves. Addi Duranski picked up three points at No. 4 Singles with Crystal Craft and Carley Rubenking each scoring a point in their matches before falling to their opponents.

Nebraska Wesleyan returns to American Rivers Conference action with duals against Luther and Wartburg on Saturday, October 2 at the LSF Sports Complex. The first match against Luther begins at 9 a.m. and the second match against Wartburg is slated for 3:30 p.m.
